Ecologica puts a strong emphasis on the use of indigenous plants and I have gone to great lengths to highlight the hidden beauty and the fantastic use that such plants can be within an Italian garden. I also try to involve the creatures that survive on these plants for their very survival and underline the delicate connection that some insects have with certain plants. Nature is a very complex chain of events that leads to such beauty and I feel that its important to understand how important balance is within a garden and also just how vital it is to maintain this natural harmony in order to create beauty.
