Hello, my name is Jonathan Radford, I am an English landscape designer and I have been living and working in Italy for the past 16 years, although I have actually been a professional gardener for more than 20 years. During my time spent here in Italy I have discovered many of the secrets regarding Italian garden design and I have dedicated myself to interpreting these secrets in a totally contemporary way.

My main passion and chosen field is ecological garden design. However, I still enjoy sharing my knowledge of classic Italian garden design and in this series of articles I aim to do this in clear, practical and easily understandable steps.
